Hello everyone! MGHS would like to announce that we'll be investigating Old Fort Western in Augusta tonight!!! This link will take you on a virtual tour and tell you a little bit about the history. http://www.oldfortwestern.org/tour/hht.html
This place is eeeeeerrrrrie on the inside. Just looking through the windows from the outside makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. There have been quite a few deaths there so we'll see if anyone wants to communicate with us tonight!
Cant wait!!!! HAPPPPPPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I can't wait! It's going to be SOOOO exciting!
Be safe but have fun :) Keep us posted on this love to hear the results all :)
It was a fun night. Still need to get evidence reviewed but I'm hopeful. We (my investigating partner Jen and I) had some crazy EMF stuff, heard voices and footsteps. She has some pics she wants me to look at too, but I don't think I have much by way of photos. I'm hopeful audio will turn something up. We had some interesting cold spots too, which reminds me that I want to buy a non-contact thermometer!
Also, wanted to say it's a cool place to visit if you ever get the chance. Amazing history for a place built in the 1700's! Original floor boards and beams in the attic that you can see were formed by hand. WAY cool stuff!

Make sure you zoom in on all of those windows in the pics! Sometimes I get caught up in the orbs and forget to check the reflective surfaces. Did you see the St.Albans picture of Robin? That was crazy!
We have a little non-contact thermometer. Those surface IR's are useless. I think the little thermometer wasnt very expensive. EBAY!!!!!!
Wow what a place very old I did not think anything was still up in Maine that was in the 1700's that is quite a find! I bet it does have a ton of history as well as spirits.. all the different renovations and people that came and went through that house MAN!
There was a LOT!
And no bathrooms! LOL not even later no bathrooms were mentioned being put in no plumbing or running water or even up to date stoves either that is interesting to know!
Anyways..I just had to mention that cuz that is the silly in me! LOL
Cannot wait to find out what you all retrieved from that place I bet it is quite the interesting stuff! :)
LOL...they have since added bathrooms. It's not attached to the building , but they have them! It's a good thing too because energy drinks, Mountain Dew, and water runs rampid in our group! The only down side is we had to run through the rain to get there the other night lol
OH what a bummer! So you were like wet and did not even have an accident! LOL
Well it is good they added bathrooms at some point!
I am just surprised though they did not add later to the house you know a bathroom with a tub and all where it was also in there in the late 1800's and early 1900's you know they had basic plumbing then :)
So i thought they may have added basic plumbing to the home they added and subtracted too! LOL everything else :) LOL :)
I bet those energy drinks go through you Soda goes through me when I am out and about don't help I take water pills so I am a buzzing potty! zone LOL
