I was typing about my experience in the Georgia Farmhouse and I put it under the Welcome and Introductions.

So, now that I see it posted I will attempt to reiterate what I put on that other page. Sorry about that.

We rented a farm about 30 miles west of Savannah, Georgia in 2003. My friend Holly went over there to clean up the carpets very thoroughly, so we would start out with everything as clean as possible. She reported to me later that she had brought her daughter there with her and that they felt a dreaded feeling, as if they were not wanted in the house. I was surprised, because she is a good "church-going" lady and not as open to such things, as maybe I would be.

I can't believe that once again, after typing for 15 minutes, I can't find what I posted. I typed about 10 paragraphs. I put it all out there, for understanding or ridicule, and now I can't even find it. I appreciate your compassion MaineMom,but I will have to try again later.

I was standing next to my bed, and something yanked very hard on the back of my very loose jumper. I laughed to myself that though I am overweight, "my figure is not THAT out of control." It wasn't caught in a wedgie or anything like that. It was loose. Something unseen yanked on it about three times. I turned and nothing was there, at least that I could see. My children were in other parts of the house. My husband was at work.

Okay, maybe I am not supposed to try to type a chapter at a time. Just a few sentences. I also want to say that I was taking a nap in the afternoon on that same side of the bed when I noticed a grey, thick fog move over me from left to right. It was about two and a half feet long and about one foot "deep" from the bed up. I was not afraid, but I did see it. I later doubted myself, but I know what I saw.

The house was only built in the late 1950s, so it wasn't a creaky, ancient farmhouse or anything like that. There was a spot on the formal living room floor where my husband suspected a person had died and been there for a period of time. Although the landlord said no one had died there, the neighbor lady about a quarter of a mile away said he was lying to me, that both of his parents had died there. The mother had died next to the den door from a heart attack, and the father had suffered from Alzheimer's, and was locked in to keep him from getting out onto the highway. They found him there dead.

We would lock everything up tight, not knowing the people nearby and hoping we wouldn't get robbed or anything. Away we would go to Walmart. When we returned, the door would be standing wide open. This happened alot.

Okay this is weird.. for whatever reason one of your posts here was hidden for spam????

hidden post - the post was flagged as spam

Why it was flagged I don't know..
I guess it being Halloween or something the forum is now acting wild and weird!
Anyways, I am presuming this is not in Maine correct we are talking of Georgia correct?
Now may I ask who told you the house was built in the 1950's??
Was it the lying landlord who told you no one died in it?
Was their a blood stain on the floor that made you believe that there was a body on the floor of the formal living room floor?
I am just curious.
Anyways.. those are the only two that lived there his parents?
Sounds to me like they were more mischievous then harmful and/or evil.
Sounds also like maybe some children died. Does not mean has to be in the house at all..
I live next to two children graves and an Indian grave and let me tell you they come to visit all the time.
If you are a parent which you are.. a mom that is busy like me, for some reason you will attract children if they are in the area sometimes..
My house attracts these two and we are not even on the land they are on.
Could be because my son has gifts but they like to play here and play with electrical things which after telling them to not to they have stopped that one as well...
Anyways, the Indian man is harmless as well he likes to bug the horses and well he likes to make things come off shelves and slide things on tables to floors.. pretty much that is the only harm he does.
But having a specially gifted child he is a beam of light so we get other spirits as well.. looking for help or just curious of what my son is.. I think..
That is my explanation anyways they come and go through here.
A revolving door.
As far as the fog above your bed.. that could of been anything.
What I am not sure of that.
The tugging on your clothes could of been children.
Trying to get your attention.
The door being opened after you go shopping, could be the couple and/or the children.
Either one can do that.
If you are still there and it really bothers you I would recommend a blessing on the home. Whitelight one of our people is really good with this, as far as to tell you how to do one.
There are different ways to do so depending on the beliefs of the family and what exactly is haunting it. You have blessings with Holy Water and blessings the Indian way and many other different kinds and ways to bless and protect a home. Along with different things to say anywhere from Chants or Blessing chants from the Indian cultures to simply reading certain protection versus from the Bible.
Again if you are still in this home and it bothers you to this concern.. then I would contact the group.. and they can continue to give you more information.. Contact Robin or Julie.. any of the group would be willing to help I am sure of it..
I hope that helps your concern of your home. Please feel free to post.. I don't know why it limited you so as it has never limited me and I am pretty long winded! :)
