FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRS TO SPLIT IN TO TWO SEPARATE ORGANIZATIONS
State College, Pa. - After
six-and-a-half years serving as a student club to the Penn State
campus, PRS founder Ryan Buell and co. are taking their organization to
new heights. The organization will be splitting from Penn State
University and acting as an independent, national organization. The
club, however, will remain. It will now act as a branch to the
national PRS.
“We’ve
known this day would come for some time now,” said PRS founder Ryan
Buell. “And we honestly have two emotions about it. On one hand,
we’re saddened to be leaving our home, but at the same time, we feel a
tremendous amount of freedom. We are now taking the next step in our
journey.”
The national PRS will
be known for the time being as simply Paranormal Research Society LLC.
Its new website will debut within a month. PRS LLC has recently
relocated to a new office on College Ave. It is currently not open to
the public.
As for “Paranormal
State,” Buell feels that the show will “age” with its stars, all of
which, as of this month, are now graduates from the university.
“We
can’t remain college students forever,” said Buell. “We are now young
professionals. We will still maintain friendly relations with Penn
State and of course, ties with the club.”
The
Penn State PRS organization has recently elected a new Director, Buell
said, and the club organization has been offered office space at the
PRS LLC headquarters.
“Essentially, there are now two PRS’,” said Buell.
The
national PRS will now offer support for UNIV-CON, the club as well as
the core, internal research. The club, which is still open to Penn
State students, will work closely with the organization and support
major endeavors such as UNIV-CON.
seems it was inevitable. I wonder how the show will adapt.
I figured it would happen but like Kaspr stated.. I wonder what will be of the show and how it will adapt and if it would work later and all..
Everyone grows up and moves on
I am sure they will have success with this just because of the name and all.
but hopefully the show will continue and work out for everyone as it is an interesting show.. indeed.
Yes, I enjoy the show too. It's theatrical at times but they really do seem to care about the homeowners and families involved. To me, that's what matters. There have been enough groups around for long enough to document paranormal activity exists. It's the human piece that I think gets forgotten. (Certainly not by MGHS though!)
Well I don't expect MGHS to ever get lost in forgetting the humane aspect of ghost investigating.. :)
You are right there are many investigators or looky loos out there that could be more humane towards the owners and families experiencing these problems and issues.
Personally I find it sad that they don't see the issues that can happen with these haunted homes and the strains of the families and all and the stressful situations and the tiresome torment they experience and I have and always believe that MGHS is the group that can help those people that are in that predicament.
I know we are possibly moving up North, half hour away from Canada, possibly to an old farm home I plan to have blessed before I move in as well..
With my luck who knows what is on this property now LOL
I will have to keep you all posted at our final decision but it looks like a go! :)
