I did hear the Gretchen one too, but not sure that is what it says....why are your EVP's so mechanical sounding? It sounds tinny .....did you alter them with editing or is that the way they recorded?........that is odd.........
Although it is very faint i do hear the yes i am messing with you on the gretchen or question i hear kira (a female voice) and male voice, chen I don't hear gretchen or question I hear chen. interesting stuff going through the others now :) I could not hear the last two at all.. still working on those pictures it has been nutz over here :)
I didn't catch a thing that couldn't be explained away.
dang it
Sorry Kaspr.. maybe next time ;)
okay i finally went through the wonderful pictures Scotty took and lightened them up and stuff.. for you all to see...there are some interesting things that you cannot see in the dark really :)
Okay this one I found interesting because of the mist in the trees and all the orbs interesting photo indeed to me!

Again with all the wonderful Orbs..
Again lots of orbs interesting stuff..
And this one again with orbs....
good pictures :) and not sure if this was Scotty's and/or Summer's photos as I noticed Summer posted pictures too so whoever they are belonging too there you go I lightened them up to show them better :)
Thanks Lynne, they were my pics but summer posted as I was having trouble with them. Really interesting what you uncovered! Thanks again!
Hody everyone, I figured I wold pop on to say hi while I had a sec!
Your welcome Scotty glad you all enjoyed them yah sometimes when you brighten them up a bit you see things you never thought you caught before interesting shots though :) thanks for sharing..
And hi Mandy or James lol :)
Glad you popped up! :)
The only issue with lightening the pictures up is you're not revealing true orbs. By definition they should have their own "inner glow", so they would be visible without having to do anything to the picture. Not to knock what was caught in the pictures, but by brightening them up they become "suspect", and therefore not real. They're more than likely moisture bubbles moving throught the air, but still pretty neat to look at.
Regarding orbs, I do agree with kaspr. I think lighting up photos may discredit orbs.
However, I have a friend that snapped a picture in a cemetery at night. In the picture, there was nothin truly special. After she lightened it up, a full-body apparition appeared where only darkness was in the original photo.
I think most people in this field lighten up photos just to see what else could be in them.....I've seen it happen right in front of me and was completely SHOCKED as to what was really there.
But as far as the orbs? I definitly think that discredits them. In fact, Julie and I did an experiment with orbs last week. Our entire viewpoint has changed. Today we have an orb and EVP training with the team. I will post the aforementioned pictures later :)
Hope all is well this BLAZINGLY hot week!
OH i stated orbs cuz i did not know what to call them lol :)
I don't put too much into orbs really.. unless it is a color or i see a face in them anyways..
Cuz it could be a dust bunny and/or a water bunny you never know...
Yah it has been hot and i am loving it lol :)
I hope to get out and swim in the pond near here on Friday :) with the boy! This weekend and family
And that is True Robin that is what i was looking for when I lightened the pictures to see if any entities may be out there.. remember the ones that another member put onto here and I lightened them of Mount HOpe and we all saw an entity was pretty kewl!
So you never know what might be in the shadows :)
Orbs have always gotten a bad rap....and a lot of people take pictures, get some circles or triangular shaped objects and automatically scream....Look I got orbs!!!!! The truth is that in the "paranormal" world investigators and researchers wont look at orb pictures unless they follow the standards of what is deemed difficult to disprove. If you get a picture with a hundred circles then you can probably disregard that as pollen, moisture (even if it is not raining) dust etc. If you get circles that you can see through disregard them as well. What you are looking for are abnormalities that are solid in color so that they look like they are self illuminated. I lighten picutres to see if there is anything not visible lurking in there, but not orbs. It is kind of like enhancing audio, once you have to make adjustments it lowers the quality of the evidence, unless there is spectacular there.
True I agree Lisa with your thoughts I am sure it lowers quality of the picture.. but sometimes you never know what is lurking behind all that darkness :) and poof there is a spirit waving at you with a smile and no teeth! lol :)
Hmm did I just describe Kaspr?? LOL
Anyways okay I will be behave cuz he is in Alaska and cannot come on here and defend himself lol :)
Well maybe not lol :)
Well yah a little I will behave :)
Okay well let me see if I can find a picture that was brightened and what was caught.. and put it in here.. it is quite interesting cuz the picture had to be lightened just to see the spirit, cuz it was dark and for some reason the owner decided hey let me lighten this cuz they felt something there when they took the picture and low and behold there was ;)
As you can see it is a little grainy again the pictures quality and we did mess with the colouring see if we could bring it in any better but couldn't really..
Original Foto here:
That is before lightening at all
As you can see it is really really dark...
That is a good example of what you can find when lightening pics.....You never know what is hiding in there......Although it is grainy you can certainly make out that shadow.....Is that at your friends house?....Did he ever get his webcam set up? Would love to see it......
That is really neat! I can't imagine doing that for all my pictures though because I'm really trigger happy. When we were at DF the last time I took over 500 pictures and for our latest investigation I took around 300.
The thing about it though, is someone will look at those photos and see that they've been lightened. Then it's quite possible that they'll jump to the thought what else did they do to the photo?? It's a real catch 22, but I've always been of the opinion, if you can't see it without touching up the photo, it's suspect at best.
Lisa it is the one in PA. yah.. unfortunately still not resolved and it is only getting worse, they are attacking the children now.. since they did the blessing wrong.. but he is trying to get it sorted out and worked out now.. i hope we hope anyways for the family's sake...
I agree Kaspr but with the history of what I know of this family and what he has shared in EVP's with me and all... I have to state that this is all real..that everything I have seen is real..
and there is at best something there that just don't want them living there.
for whatever reasons but they are not giving up they are going to keep trying to clear the house hopefully soon.. have to find the right people to do it is the problem.. everyone that has been there is so flaky.. or seems to have major losses of proof and investigation information.. supposedly, or will not tell the family anything at all.. loses information, computer fries, psychics become ill when they are headed to the house.. the list goes on and on from the groups.. so he is hoping to find the right one for help.. hopefully soon.
I had sent him a link to a PA group that I personally knew some of the people. I dont know if he contacted them or not. Maybe they were too far away. But they would not have turned away a family in need.......Perhaps they were not close enough, but I thought they would have referred him to someone else. I hope he gets it under control soon, especially if physical contact is increasing......Lisa B.
I do not know if they did Lisa or not or if they referred him...
because of the distance and all.. he never mentioned it to me will have to ask him..
Thanks for telling me though.
