Devil's Footprint

If you had your camera set to the night setting, which I'm fairly certain you did, then if you're not standing very still you get some weird images. The rods are actually light reflecting off of moving bugs, or street lights. The mist on Mandy may actually be from Mandy moving. You can also get some odd double exposures. I'll post a bunch of mine, since we have the same camera to illustrate.

Thanks, kaspr. I went back to auto because it was working better but your explanation makes sense to me!

In the first picture you can see the grave stone, with a halo of light around it, but that's actually from the street lamp behind it.
The second picture looks like a mist in between the two obelisks, but that's actually just a reflection of the flash from the stone.
The third and the fourth pictures are of the same thing. The third looks like a rod falling from the sky, but in the fourth you can make out the shape of the bug that was captured to begin with.
The fifth is another example of insects, from a bit farther away.
The last is another example of the flash reflecting off of polished marble. I hadn't seen that happen before, and it fooled me at first too.

If it is paranormal, it's probably yelling at me because my butt looks HUGE! Holy cow, I never realized how bad I look from behind :P
I wonder why everyone else got such clear shots. I looked at some of mine the other day and like we noticed that night, they are all very dark. I have taken pictures in almost total darkness before and objects still show up.
Still reviewing our evidence, but we will definitely post it up if we got anything!

KASPR - Thanks for your help with the pictures! If I sent you the origional of the one with Mandy and Louie would you look at it again. I understand where most of it is coming from but if you could blow it up and look at the face, I'd love to know what would cause that!

Ok - Lynne helped me crop the area that I was talking about. I see a man's facial features. Kaspr - what would cause this?

I am not sure what you are referring to as the man......I lightened this up and still didnt have a clue...The blob looking thing in the midle is part of the rock wall I think..........

I got crap for pictures.........will go through them again....sometimes I miss stuff first time around because it is usually three oclock in the morning when I am looking at them

In the break in the bushes. Up close it has defined features. It's more visible on my computer. Robin saw it when she saw the one I emailed you all. Try enlarging the one Robin and Julie emailed you. There weren't any 5 foot high rock walls were there? How'd I miss that?

I played with it a little more brightening it up and cropping some more and this is what I come up with Summer's Pictures:

Lisa is there a rock wall there.. now that I have brightened up I don't see one but it is dark out there.. :)

Notice the face in the bottom picture right by Mandy in front  of her? Look closely I can see a face there.. eyes and what have you..

I'm fairly certain that's actually the wall in the BACK of the cemetary, coming through the break in the bushes. It's hard to tell how far away some things are, since we've essentially taken a three dimensional scene, and made it two dimensional.

I do see the face, but I'm wondering if it isn't matrixing. I can see motion blur with the tombstones and some on Louie as well. It is odd that there would be motion blur in front of my head like that, though.
I am almost done with the audio, I have a few weird clips to share. I will post them in the Paranormal Clips and Videos thread as soon as I'm done. I'm actually going to send a few to you first Lisa, if you don't mind. I'm still completely confounded with Cool-Edit, and you seem to have a good handle on your program. They are a little muffled, and I was wondering if they could be cleaned up at all, I'm not even completely sure that there is anything in these few, just thought that they had some potential. I'd really appreciate it :)

Robin said she was with them when that picture was taken and that they were near the woods where there was no wall. But I dont remember there being tombstones on that side. I think it is a rock, and in one of those pics you can faintly see a face, but it is hard to tell if it is shadowing from the rock itself or if it is a spirit trying to morph with the rock to be seen.....Hey your butt is fine.....could always be worse...........hahahahahhaa...OOOH send me EVP's  I will help..............aerofan63@yahoo.com

I don't remember that wall being that high, was it? I should look back through my pics and see if I have any others in that area. That's when we had just entered and were walking through the old portion of the cemetary. Maybe someone else has pics with those two stones in it that we could reference for location.

See, this is my recollection as well. I couldn't remember there being a wall there at all, and certainly not that high, but there was so much to be looking at that I wasn't sure if I had just missed something there. Hmmmm, will check my origionals when I get home. Maybe the google maps image would help too. I'll check that!

Looking at the Google Maps picture it looks like my pic is in the area before the wall began. I wish I could get a better look at it though.
