I am a fan of horribly cheesy movies. Especially in the horror genre. SOOOOOOOOO, what's the absolute WORST horror movie you've ever seen, and why. Was it the effects, the awful story line, bad acting etc. etc. I'll be back with my list. I actually don't know some of the names of the movies I saw, so I need to find them.

Cabin Fever. I don't know if it was supposed to be a horror, but it was portrayed as one. It was the worst movie I have ever seen. It lacked in everything from a plot to special effects. Even the sound was off (not just behind, but actual mistakes in recording the sound).

Really? Cabin Fever I liked LOL
Oh well!
But Zombie movies are my most cheesy.. I have not found one I really enjoy yet..

Return of the Living Dead
And the other episodes after it.. #2 and #3 just as cheesy!
Why?  They are just so gory but they just lacked talent.. it was just not what I expected over all in  a horror movie..

Another one:
Final Destination that was good...

But then we had to continue the stories and continue them and continue them

And well they started to get redundant and boring..

Another one:

Jeepers Creepers
and the Redundant remakes of that..

again they started to get really boring..

Another one:
Chucky!
I think they have out done that poor doll!
I cannot stand to watch that show but for background noise
And my hubby finds them funny!
So horror it is not.. it is not what it is made out to be...horror flick not in my book.

Ohhh! Another one of my favorite topics.   I'd have to say that the worst horror movies I've ever seen are (in no particular order)....
1) Dr. Giggles  (absolutely ridiculous. When the Dr. kills people he giggles)
2) Mirrors
3) The Haunting of Molly Hartley
4) ALL of the Chuckies. I can't STAND them

I do love some cheesy horror movies. Freddy vs. Jason was pretty awful but it's one of my favorites.  I love the Night of the Living Dead from the 60's...as well as a lot of newer zombie movies too.

What about everyone else?

Mirrors was pretty kewl for us we enjoyed it..
And well I saw the haunting of Molly Hartley and was not impressed at all and have to agree there....and well Chucky just seems more of a comedy we laugh through that lol :)
But good ones Robin.. have to admit! Good list!
Freddy Vs. Jason and just some of the Jason movies after number 1 are redundant too.. in my opinion they are to have noise in the background for me while on the computer lol :)

I must agree with fishie.  Cabin Fever was pretty awful.  The acting was horrible, the dialogue was cheesy, and it was overall a horrible film!

I can't believe you said that Evil Dead was horrible acting. It was shot in college with a budget of a few thousand dollars. It was charming for its time.

The absolute most horrible movie i've ever seen was probably those 10 films to die for or whatever they are called.

I love the Grindhouse movies. Even though there were only 2 of them.. The sleep away camp ones were pretty bad.

I loved the Evil Dead. It was mostly filmed in my homestate of Tennessee, too! I must agree with Mandy though....the acting did suck :)   Even if it was a couple of college kids....It WAS amazing what they did!

I love Army of Darkness. I love cheesy movies. Both zombie, vampire and anything supernatural. It's a wonderful thing. I love any of the "of the dead" movies. I own all of them.

Just watched the new Friday the 13th movie last night....I must say....it left a lot to be desired. I do NOT like the way they severely humanized Jason. It made him a lot less scary.  Everything made him a lot less scary.  My Bloody Valentine was SO much better
