I love that movie! LOL It's such a hoot, even after all these years. My husband went to a large party this year in a Ghostbuster's jumpsuit, so you can tell we're fans! LOL

I think that using the ovilus in conjunction with other scientific equipment can not hurt. I think you always have to remember who the investigation is actually for. Which is the homeowner or business owner...who most of the time are skeptical of all things.
 
Therefore, them coming first....is the most important rule you can possibly have. If it means that a "scientific device" is something that helps you prove or debunk something for the client, then so be it.
 
Personally, I am also a Psychic. An authentic one, born with my natural gift. Despite what I am feeling, seeing, hearing, etc.....I also want to collect the scientific evidence as well. Not for myself but for the client. I work with the FBI, state police and agencies.
 
I have also worked with others who call themselves sensitives and psychics...I can tell you first hand that out of all the people who claim to be...I could probably count the legit ones on both hands. This is out of thousands I have met.
 
So as a word of advice to investigating groups and clients...science first. Psychics are tools, not the base of an investigation. Would you stand around a K2 meter all night watching for the lights to blink, lol...of course not...so why would you stand around and base your investigation on a person who claims to have a 6th sense?
 
Just my own little thought....but it does come from LOTS of experience.

I think it is wonderful the gifts you have and the usages that you are able to put them through..your comment on the K-2 meter made me smile and think of Taps lately they have been putting a lot of faith into that meter.. it seems..thanks for sharing.

Hi, nice to meet you. I have been investigating for about 20 years. I come from a very long line of ghost hunters and sensitives.
 
The K2 is fun...most of the time it does nothing. However, when you see the meter light up in response to certain questions AND gather other information through various sources, it can be fun.

My experience with sensitives/psychics is that not all are equal in their abilities, and each psychic has different levels of abilities. No one psychic has total ability to see all and know all.  What one may pick up in a building or cemetery, another may pick up on something totally different. I remember at a cemetery once one psychic picked up on a horse drawn hearse coming down the road, while the other psychic had no feelings of it.  It doesnt mean that one is wrong over the other, but that they pick up on different wavelengths. So that being said, it is nice to have a psychic on investigation to obtain what information they can, and to point out the possible hot spots for camera placement, but it is also prudent to keep in mind that whomever the psychic is that there is probably more going on there than they can pick up on. And if a psychic/sensitive doesnt pick up on something in a certain area, it doesnt mean that there is no spiritual activity to be found there and you should investigate as you normally would.  A thorough investigation should always be conducted regardless of psychic use or feelings. And all evidence, spiritual and scientific, presented to the homeowner during the reveal so they can form their own opinion as to what they wish to believe.                       Lisa B. 

We do use both quite equally. There are several sensitives on our team but they all work with the scientific equipment. If they have feelings or psychic input, we consider that too. If the science can back up their sixth sense then awesome! If not, they write it in the final report and we submit every one of them to the homeowner at the reveal. You never know what might be of importance to them and not to us.

We do have what we call a spiritual communicator on our team that is soley with us for that role. We have had several instances that her sense of things was backed up with scientific evidence. Other than whitelight though, everyone else is required to gather scientific data while we work.
