As most of you know I have a website page promoting MGHS and proud of it.
It has a lot of hits on there. Which is great! But I also got a comment the other day and it was a bit disturbing.
As I also list some of the places that are supposedly found to be haunted and reported haunted on there from a group off the net.
Which is fine.
I guess many would like me to FIND these places I have posted and how THEY could find it.
AND POST it on how to get there to these places via my website.
I just want to let everyone know. AND I have posted this on my website as well..I won't and don't do that!
I have the information. I have no problem posting the information there. But I won't go beyond that. Why?
Because I don't want others out at these places without permission. I don't know if they are actual groups going out there, or partiers/youngsters out for a good time and end up ruining and desecrating someone's private land and/or holy property making it the last time that anyone can do any investigating on the land again, because of it.
I don't want to be held liable for this because of my website giving me this information.
Also I have told them on the website to come here and find the information here that we have a lot of things posted and a lot of things that may help them to find these places and also to post on the forum what they are looking for.
OR to email me and let me know more information.
BEFORE I give out any information via email if not through here, I will be finding out if you are a legitimate spirit finding group, or just a curiousity seeker for an adventurous time.
I am very, very cautious of who I send and submit this information to.
Please understand my concerns here and respect them please.
I just wanted to post this in case these curiousity seekers to venture here they know that we welcome them here, but that this is a serious matter and subject, and not a matter for the inexperienced.
Please post and feel free to post, we will try to help you here as much as we can after we have understood your situation and why you want to visit the area or property.

Lynne, Thank you for that post!!! I agree. The respectful way for paranormal investigation is with a group, with permission, and with consideration of the property and spirits you are investigating. Going somewhere without consent is not only unethical, but illegal. We appreciate Mainemom for helping us to get our group out there with her website, and we respect her for her discretion in not posting certain information! Lisa B.
Thank you Lisa it is appreciated that it is understood not only by the members here of the group but by anyone coming in to the group as well. Please don't spoil it for others that really want to do an investigation and are not able to because of the party goers out there or the ones that go out there venturing alone or don't know anything of investigating and/or what they are doing out there. It can become dangerous and life-threatening!
I more then enjoy having the website up and the group being advertised on my website, and hope to continue having it on my website for everyone to enjoy! :)
We absolutely appreciate this post Lynne! There are a plethora of reasons why people should not travel to locations without official permission and documentation to be there. For each investigation we do we have paperwork signed to first, permit us onto the premises; second, release them of any liability if we should injure ourselves in the process; Third, a liability waiver should any property be damaged. If you go to a location like a cemetery in a small town like the Manchester, ME Devils Footprint, the police check on that nightly due to vandalism. So even if your intentions are harmless you will most likely be having a discussion with an officer and without proper documentation you are considered to be trespassing. If you are serious about your intentions and not looking for a thrill for the evening like some, you need to take the extra time to get releases. Most times it only takes one phone call and you show up to get signatures before you enter. It is irresponsible and most disrespectful to both the property owners and the spirits to go about it any other way.

Thank you Julie I am glad you appreciate it and I know you guys all do. I try to my best..by this group as i know how important it is and all the hard work you have all put into it to keep its reputation as professional as well, as a serious group that you are, about the paranormal and I respect that. That you are not one to just say here is your problem good luck and bye. You find the problem tell them and help them as they want it, and I really respect that in all of you that are in the group. Thank you again and I appreciate the offer as well :) I have kept it in mind :)
